Meridian, Washington is near of Forks, Washington where it faces the Pacific Ocean. Facing the south of Forks, about 4 hours away to be exact. The beaches are cold during the winter but the brave solders that are known, as the local surfers will throw themselves towards it. It is not that far of a drive (maybe 10 hours, 14- depending) of Seattle, Washington but it’s closer to Tacoma.
It’s an upcoming town, known for it’s fresh fishing; it’s granola like way of living. Although there is a Starbucks, a Wal-mart is kind of hard to find. Most people find it the perfect place to raise kids.
But don’t think it’s exactly ‘small town’. Meridian is known for it’s posh record shops (locally known Pet Sounds which has been around for years) and the up and coming cleverly known ‘The Record Shop’. Jitterbug the local coffee shop that rivals Starbucks- for if you’re in Washington, there has to be one. It holds a variety of shops, mostly locally owned. The community as a whole stands firm and very apart of Washington. But as any up and coming town it’s had a boom of youngsters, either moving across the country to discover the place or born and rose near or in Meridian.
Some reasons for Washington not having state taxes taken out of checks, for better education system and public health-care. Other can be because it accepts everyone or any background or culture.
It’s one of those places that if you wanted to reinvent yourself or discover who you are, it’s the place to come.

Natalia watched Sunshine as she just walked off with a huge frown on her face. The matter of the fact was that Sunshine was the very first friend that she ever made at the school. Nat might not of been considered her partner in crime or anything like that but they were close friends and she did care about the girl. Nat just quiet excused herself from the table not even worry about the whole Arden ordeal and Rainn running after the girl. Which was weird in itself. Her feet carried her quickly into the locker room as she looked around for Sunshine. When she saw the closed stall and two shoes.
"Sunshine, darlin. Are you okay?"
Her voice was soft and sounded worried. She had never seen that from her before.

"I'm fine." Sunshine bawled, opening up the stall and walking out, wiping her eyes with the butt of her hand. She breathed out, crossing one arm under her chest and holding her hand in the space between her lower and upper arm to steady herself. Sunshine, all too used to getting her own way shrugged lightly. "I'm fine Nat." She said, offering a larger smile.

Rainn had not been expecting Arden to greet her with open arms so if the clip words coming from Arden's lips bothered her at all there was no sign of it, her face as usual back to it's normal stern expression. "I'm not going to sugar coat this one bit," she started. "I don't know what made you come in there and actually try but you were great. I don't know what you wanted out of this and to be honest it doesn't really matter. You should have been offered a position and if you wanted to mock us afterwards then decisions could have been made based on that." She sighed and shifted her dance bag on her shoulder.
"Look," her features softened just a little. "I don't know what this is worth but I want to apologize for all of us. I'm not going to make any excuses." She kept her eyes looked with Arden's. She was being sincere and if the blond too her words for granted so be it. Some times even the Ice Queen had to let her defenses down. "I really am sorry."

Personally, she thought Sunshine was way too upset just for what happened. In a way she did think there was something bigger going on in the girl life. But she wasn't going to be one to force her into talking to her. Natalia's face showed a lot of concern.
"oh okay. I just wanted to make sure you were okay. You know if you ever need to talk i've got a good ear."

"Don't worry about me hun. The name says it all. Sunshine." She offered her a wavered smile and then moved past Natalia to head out towards her locker and then to her car. It was a lot of different things all at once. She was a teenager after all. Drama should have been her middle name.
